A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum,
Giving this whole online spouse shopping a go, so to my future wife, here is how it all began.
Having rewritten the profile multiple times, wondering if anyone actually bothers to read it, thinking if I should be funny, or stick with bullet points as if I was presenting at work, it dawned on me that ultimately it doesn't matter as if we are are meant to be and Allah has decreed it, we will find each other. But no harm in tying the camel...
So a bit about me, I'm focused and know what I want. I have goals and aspirations for this life but I trust and accept Allahs plan as he knows what we do not.
I work as an engineer in my professional life, so yes I am quite analytical, logical and try to be rational. But, I am not a robot and feel I have pretty decent EQ.
I am well travelled and have been to some amazing and also obscure places. I'm an adventurer and love to explore new places.
Not going down play it, I love the gym and health and fitness, wellbeing etc. along with interests in martial arts, cycling, the outdoors, scuba diving, cooking, DIY, generally enjoy being active but can just as easily relax all day by the beach, with the odd snorkeling session thrown in.
I always pray my salah, even if it means pulling out my travel mat in a motorway services car park so as not to miss it. I try to actively learn more about our deen but would never claim to be knowledgeable when we consider the oceans of knowledge out there.
I have a mixed-race Asian / Western European background, which often means I'm neither white enough or brown enough depending on the cultural persuasion😂.

So, now for the real litmus test, I have two youngish boys who are present in my life on a regular basis, Alhamdulillah. If kids are a problem for you, then please swipe left as you are not the right fit for me.
So who am I looking for? Someone kind, someone who will show the same mercy, affection and patience I will towards her, someone to share life’s ups and downs, to support one another in achieving the ultimate goal of Jannah for us and our family and to hopefully have plenty of laughs and fun times on the way.
Communication is a key component to any relationship, mind reading is not a power I have acquired.
Finally, mutual attraction is a must and I'm not shy to say it.
FYI, sometimes I travel with work and may not be online for a little while. I will reply to messages as soon as I can.
Also, if following initial communication we aren't feeling it, we can be respectful to one another and politely say so. We are Muslims and should be a leading example of good adab and treatment towards one another.

What I Am Looking For
In a nutshell, I am looking to find someone to share life’s ups and downs, to support one another in achieving the ultimate goal of Jannah for us and our family and to hopefully have plenty of laughs and fun times on the way.
Physical attraction, having some common interests and being able to lovingly joke and tease while also being able to discuss and explore deeper matters and ideas.
I am physically active and enjoy training, would be nice to have that in common.
